Sandbanks Provincial Park is one of Ellee's favourite parks in the area. A short 35 minutes from Belleville, this is a wonderful park to visit for the day or camp out (although sites go quickly).
Beautiful white sand beaches, trails, and clear waters. It is a great spot to soak in the sunshine and the beauty of the area.
It is also a quick trip to Picton for tasty food, drink, and artsy boutiques.
Picton is such a charming, artsy, and vibrant small town. It has a buzz about it in the warmer months with many unique shops and restaurants.
Be sure to check it out, if you feel the pull!
Let me put it this way...
I am very lactose intolerant but, make an exception once a year to treat myself to a few scoops of Slickers Campfire Cream.
This small batch, local biz is the bees knees, in my opinion. Worth a stomach ache!
Located in Bloomfield and Picton (just a short drive from Belleville).
Check it out, you won't regret it :)
-Ellee
Located on the lake, the Drake is where Eric and Ellee went on one of their first dates. Its fun, quirky, creative design (both interior and exterior), offers a seasonal menu and a view to swoon over.
Be sure to check out the art installations on the property if you visit!
Prince Edward County is well-known for its vineyards. There are plenty of wineries and tours offered. A great way to enjoy a May day and support local businesses to the area.
Another spot to hit up in Picton.
Although we can't attest to the beer, we sure do love the wood-oven pizzas on the patio. Yum, I'm getting hungry thinking about it! 555 has a great staff and friendly owners. We love to support them and hope you do too!
